Technicians will also inspect internal components like the anode rod to see if it needs to be replaced, as well as the temperature pressure release (TPR) valve to ensure it’s not blocked. The TPR valve releases water when there is excess pressure in the tank and ensures that your pipes don’t burst. If this valve isn’t working right, we can recommend if it needs to be replaced.
