Service Experts Family Giving One Lucky Family a Furnace

February 22, 2016

Christmas is well behind us but BW/Cook Service Experts is extending the season of giving into February. The HVAC, air quality, and plumbing company who serves the communities around Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky family a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We were excited to help a family stay safe and warm during the winter months,” said Mick Hoeflinger, General Manager of BW/Cook Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning. “We were fortunate to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to provide a new furnace to a family in our community.”

The winning family will get an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the industry’s top names in heating and air conditioning equipment. The unit normally costs approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the winning family money for years through lower heating bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s qualified and professional technicians, who are experienced in installing a wide range of makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment, will install the system and walk the new owners through the best operating practices.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always delighted to be involved with their community. They are currently sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box in South Bend. They are also going to sponsor various local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team of Elkhart.

“We have been an integral part of our community for over 100 years. We care about the comfort of our customers, and it means a lot to us to bring a little extra comfort to a home who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t the first time the Service Experts family has stepped in on behalf of community members with needs. A few years ago, Service Experts upgraded the HVAC system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was suffering from a rare brain tumor and, because of his damaged immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was fundamental to protecting his health. In 2014, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new heating and air conditioning system, as well as installation, to a mother of two boys whose husband had passed away. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new heating and air system to a family who lost everything in a house fire.
