Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. This is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this incredible event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle group gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and participating in wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
